The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down but gentle warmth still lingers on the land.
The music stops and yet it echoes on in sweet refrains.
For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains.
Did you know you can find your own funeral celebrant?
When someone dies, their family usually go first to a funeral director, and the funeral director will provide a celebrant to design and lead the service.
However, you can tell the funeral director that you already know a celebrant, and would like that person to conduct the service.
For me, conducting a funeral is a privilege. To say the final goodbye to someone we love is a deep experience, challenging us to think about the meaning of life, and about our relationships to the living, as well as the dead. To share this journey with family and friends
is for me always moving and meaningful.
I would be honoured to sit with you and learn about the person you have lost, until I can design a ceremony that reflects exactly the feeling and meaning you would like.
Please call me when your loved one passes away.
